MAXIMA - energy consumption control

MAXIMA is a SW product for monitoring and control of energy consumption (quarter hour demand or hourly demand)

It consists from two parts:
  • Application SW is developed for controller’s series TRONIC 2000 to collect&control data fully autonomous, while the operator computer can be used for additional purposes.
  • From software that starts on energetic-operator station and makes it possible to monitoring, parameterisation and evaluation of received data

Software for controllers (TRONIC 2000)

By the help of freely programmable control station TRONIC is executed control and monitoring of demand electric energy. Programme evaluates electrometer impulses and transmitting time (synchronization signals from distributing plant). From these data calculate basic value, which compares to engage parameter. On the basis the prescribed machine appliances are switched on/off.

Control station is connected to PC (see communication), where's installed software enabling control, pre - setting parameters in control station and data archiving.

Control algorithm is designed to solve small, as well as very large, applications of measuring and control of electrical energy consumption. The control algorithm has a very wide field of application based on the requests of our customers. The software parameters provide detailed knowledge of electricity consumption and in this way customers have a chance to negotiate the correct consumption diagram. Our system controls the consumption exactly in accordance with agreed parameters. It switches all specified equipment on or off, in accordance with process priority, to ensure that negotiated values are not exceeded. The parameters can be changed at any time in accordance with changing requirements. The customer therefore does not need to overestimate his requirements and thereby pay a penalty for not consuming the contracted amount.

Controller communication to operator PS (energetic net) can be done by different modes:

  • Serial interface - the most common type of communication by the help of serial interface RS 232C. In this case is controller connecting to serial port of PC. Is mostly used there, where is the next build - up control system excepted or are only few subsidiary measuring points.
  • Modem - communication on phone line by the help of classical or GSM modem. Is mostly used like an additional version at absence of the other possibilities in communication or cable connection.
  • CAN - serial bus CAN, protocol AMICAN (specifications 2.B). In this case is to USB port of PCs connected the additional card enabling this type of communication. This solution also makes the possibility to interface more PC with identical priority (peer to peer communication).
  • Modbus – bus RS485, protocol ModBus by the help of converter or USB cards (master –slave communication).
  • TCP/IP - communications is provided by the help of converters TCP/IP RS232 and make use of computer network. At communication between station and converter is exploited protocol ModBus.

In all cases can be on bus connected next station (next demand meters, electricity, water, controllers of boiler - rooms, heat exchanger stations, etc.) or display the data on more dispatcher work places.

Software for PC (energetic dispatching centre) - software works below OS Windows’s 95/98/NT/2k/XP. Can be used like a „master“ (operator can program controlling station), or like a „slave“ (monitoring and evaluation only).

Makes it possible to:

  • Scanning of momentary output, momentary power factor, synchronization times to distribution works, quantity of remove work during arbitrarily long period
  • Summaries printing i. e. printing of all the above - mentioned data in any period
  • Scanning of graphic processes
  • Control loops set up i.e. set points, priority for switch off, load cycling, negative precepts of unclamp, max. and min. time of unclamp, time schedule of loading lock out outside of control
  • Negotiation of weekly and monthly demands
  • Event saving and monitoring, voltage failure, times unfastening of load etc.
  • Customer screens – energetic and lay out schemes
