Heating Industry
TRONIC CONTROL® s.r.o. offers:
Control of Heat in the Pipeline Network of Municipal Heating Systems
TRONIC 2000 provides the following functions during control of the heating pipeline network:
- Pressure difference control at the ends of the heating pipeline
- Pressure-booster station control
- Refilling and pressure control in heating pipelines
- Pipeline-leak monitoring (refer to BRANDES GmbH)
- Heat-balance distribution
Control of Energy Sources and Heat Exchanger Stations
When controlling energy sources and heat exchangers it is sometimes advisable to change the structure of control from equiterm (control by three independent transmitters) to constant temperature or to find the optimal combination of the two. Switching is done using a special time schedule and so this “use of correction” eliminates both the effect of the original sensor position, or its failure, and the greenhouse effect. This correction gives us the possibility of “fine tuning” the whole heating system. The correction should also be executed from force and wind direction.
The control of difference in pressure at each station is done using frequency converters to set the desired pump rpm. The frequency converters should be connected to a TRONIC controller or directly to a supervisory centre. Remote control from a supervisory centre is especially convenient during intermediary periods (spring/autumn).
Remote Data Transmission from Heat Meters
The TRONIC 2000 controller includes a special device for data collection from heat meters, water meters, gas meters, electrometers etc. The system consists of a measuring device (the communicator) a TRONIC KOMG (situated at the point of measurement), a remote data transmission unit (e.i.GSM), and an SQL database installed in a communication server at the supervisory centre. This data is available for further processing by any computer on the network.
Information system TOTRON®
TRONIC CONTROL® developed and marketed an information and control system for energy production/consumption called TOTRON. The system came about due to the demand of our customers who required a complete information system beginning with the collection of data and ending with its evaluation for invoicing, balance, distribution etc.
The system is open and allows the addition of other modules in accordance with the demand of the customer. We are ready to connect to and communicate with any meter, not only in the heating industry, but also in other industries and building complexes.
Heat-balance distribution
TRONIC CONTROL® developed and brought to market the professional software BILANCE which analyses the total heat energy supplied /consumed in the pipeline network. A condition is that all necessary data are in the database. BILANCE checks the validity of data, allows its correction, and calculates heat loss and the quantity of heating media. In this way the production/consumption of heat can be optimised and thus costs reduced. Heat-balance distribution is shown in two ways:
- Energy balance (quantity of heat [GJ] – calculation is done over a desired time interval (day, month, year)
- Mass balance (quantity of product [mc/t] – is used to determine losses
Monitoring of preinsulating pipeline-leak
TRONIC CONTROL® often meet with a requirement from customers in the heating industry for monitoring pipeline leak. We have a wealth of experience with the products of the German firm BRANDES GmbH. This type of monitoring, unlike others, provides higher accuracy and sensitivity to the leak. It allows faster reaction to eventual defects on pipelines at the construction/reconstruction stage.
